Tarek Abdel-Aziz, His professional career spans over sixteen years of experience and senior leadership mainly in the oil and gas industry, Eng. Abdel-Aziz started his career as electronics and communication engineer with Halliburton Energy Services; He held various positions of increasing responsibility in the Wireline operations in several countries including USA, Venezuela, Egypt and other locations. Eng. Abdel Aziz joined PICO Energy Group in 2008 were he had been of a great exposure and a lot of added value. He was part of a lot of startups companies, Managing Projects within the Millions of Dollars range. He was part of the team working on the tenders, negotiations and contracts to secure contracts in Mexico with Pemex. Eng. Abdel Aziz is the General Manager of PICO Technologies LLC, based in Houston, Texas since 2009. A technology provider of sophisticated Oil field equipment and tools specialized in Wireline logging tools and progressive cavity pumps systems; as well as upstream services provide specialized Surface Well Testing to high profile E&P clients across USA and Mexico. Eng Abdel Aziz received his BS degree in electronics and communication engineering, Excellency with honors. He holds couple of patents and a member of IEEE, SPE and also an associate in Project Management. He attended courses in finance, accounting and negotiation in Rice University.
Shady Kabel

His professional career spans over twenty years of experience, primarily in services with Schlumberger assigned to several locations where he got exposed to all operating environment (Land, offshore, arctic, Deep Water, etc …) and acquired most of his technical oil field experience. During his first 10 years with Schlumberger he handled several posts from Field Engineer to Service Quality Coach and Wireline Account Manager/Business Development; He was responsible for delivering high quality services for his Clients across UK, Canada, Norway, and Denmark. Eng. Kabel Joined PICO Energy Group in 2010 as a Business Development Director starting and expanding several lines of business in the Coil Tubing and Simulation, Well Testing, Drilling Fluid, Marine to be promoted to Managing Director of the Services arm of the group expanding to Mexico and USA. Adding more to his responsibilities as the CEO of Cheiron in Mexico after acquiring several E&P assets and increasing the foot print of the group overseas.

Kamel Diab

With extensive experience in key positions at a number of state-owned foreign trade companies spanning the years from the late 1950s through the mid-1970s, in 1975 Dr Kamel Diab turned his attention to the private sector. Realizing the potential of Egypt’s then newly-introduced economic liberalization policies, Dr Kamel played a pivotal role in laying the groundwork for the group of companies that comprise PICO Group and the diverse industry footprint that they occupy today. While working in the public sector, Dr Kamel held a number of top-level positions including General Manager at the International Trading Company from 1959-61, General Director of the Arab Foreign Trade Company from 1961 to 1966, and Chairman of the El Wadi Company for the Export of Agricultural Products between 1967 and 1972. During this time, Dr Kamel was instrumental in developing foreign trade between Egypt and Asia (especially India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and China) as well as in improving the quality of Egyptian agricultural produce and significantly boosting exports to Western and Eastern Europe, East Asia, and the Arab world. Dr Kamel holds a BSc in Agriculture from Cairo University, a BA in Law from Alexandria University and an MA in Management from the American University in Cairo.
Salah Diab

Regarded as one of Egypt’s leading entrepreneurs, Eng Salah Diab has been instrumental in the establishment of the Group’s Energy and Engineering activities, among many others. He started the first Egyptian petroleum services company in the mid-1970s and has been central in the development of the PICO Group companies in this sector ever since. Eng Salah also played key roles in the inception of La Poire and PICO Investments, and in 2002 he ventured back into the publishing industry — where his grandfather, Tawfik Diab, was a renowned figure in the 1930s and 20s — to establish the leading independent Egyptian newspaper, Al Masry Al Youm. Salah holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Ain Shams University and is a board member of the Egyptian Businessmen’s Association.
Tawfik S. Diab

Tawfik Diab is the Executive Chairman of PICO Energy Group a subsidiary of PICO Group - a leading Egyptian Private Company with investments in the Agriculture, Food, Real Estate, Investments, and Trading. As the energy arm of the Group, PEG works in the Exploration and Production Sector operating mature oil & gas fields, and in the Petroleum Services Sector as a provider of fit-for-purpose solution to its different clients. PEG operates out of offices in London, Cairo, Romania, Houston and Mexico. Mr Diab joined PICO Group as Investment/Portfolio Manager at its investment arm, PICO Investments, in 1998 and made Managing Director of the firm in 2001. Later in 2003 he joined PICO Energy Group as Business Development Manager where he was promoted to Managing Director in 2005. Since 2005 PEG expanded its operations onshore and offshore, increase its reserves and production ten-fold, emerging as a leader in the redevelopment of oil and gas fields, operating beyond Egypt in the US, Mexico and Romania. Mr Diab is Board Member of several leading institutions in Egypt, including PICO Group (a leading private company in Egypt & the Middle East), Chieron Petroleum, Al-Ahly for Development & Investments (listed private equity firm), Cairo Financial Holding (leading Egypt-based investment bank). Tawfik Diab is also a member of several leading Associations, including the Egyptian Businessmen’s Association, the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt, (where he was Vice-Chairman of the Energy Committee), The Egyptian Gas Association, the Young Presidents Organization (“YPO”), and Sir Magdy Yacoub Heart Foundation. Mr Diab is a graduate of the American University in Cairo, where he earned a BSc in Mechanical Engineering.
